Modeling Shoots

The Modeling shoot is a series of photographs in which you would portray different characters. (Think America’s Top Model).

This shoot takes a good bit more advanced planning. You should determine what types of characters you want to play based on the costumes or clothing you can bring to the shoot.

You will need to provide a list of those characters to me prior to the shoot so I can plan locations and backgrounds. Keep in mind that though I can coach you on poses and expressions, the quality of the photos is highly dependent on your skill to imitate characters. At least one head shot will be included in the package.

For the best outcome, you should have an idea of what you would like to see captured. Are you wanting photos for a portfolio or just for fun? Do you want editorial shots which are highly unique or more traditional poses? Is there a particular theme that you are wanting, such as “Mysterious”, “Fitness”, or “Americana”. Do you have a message you want to get across? Communicate your vision to us, so that we can help you capture the images with your focus in mind.

We do NOT do sexual shoots or themes that would be deemed inappropriate by societal norms. I also will not do any shoot that goes against my conscious, and therefore I reserve the right to refuse any and all requests of which we do not feel comfortable, either before, or during the shoot. My service is to provide you with my artistic expression, not to be a hired shooter. Please be clear about this difference. I will not shoot any image that is not consistent with my brand.

It's an Entertainment Package

The Modeling Shoot is considered an entertainment package. It’s something fun to do for the day where you get a lot of one-on-one attention, and you end up with something to show for the day in the form of your photos. It’s a chance for you to play at being a model just for fun – because you know you want to!

And of course, you can share all those great poses with family and friends or use them in a portfolio.

We don’t have any modeling connections, and no one will get copies of your photos except you. I’m sorry, but although you are a Star to us, we can’t make you a “Big Star” out there in the world.

Suggestions

Plan out your costume for each pose and what you want that character to portray.

Practice your poses in a mirror before the shoot.

We need to be able to see facial expressions but practice making them look realistic instead of highly theatrical.

Let us know your vision clearly. For example, if the goal of your shoot is to portray you as mysterious, let us know that in advance. Pick out unusual costumes, and practice creating mysterious characters. I will put you in poses that will add an air of mystery.
